Busy week..

The weeks are flying by! I had a pretty busy week - Monday i spent the morning at the immigration office, my residence and work permit application has just been approved so i can stay here legally until May:) Tuesday - Katherine and i went to a grade school for the afternoon and had 40 kindergardeners. It was a little bit of a challenge because they didn't know english so we had to have a translator and they also have very short attention spans! Wednesday - we decided to do a pub crawl - all the foreign girls got together and we went downtown. We spent most of our time at an Irish pub and are thinking we might have to go back there for St. Patty's Day! Thursday was spent just recovering and then practice. Friday - we went to another grade school in Birkeroed and had about 15 kids. We had practice Saturday morning and then a game Sunday. We played Frederiksberg and won in a close 4 set match. The scores were 25-21, 21-25, 25-23, 26-24. With the win we have secured 1st place in the league with 2 games left before play-offs. We will play Brondby this Saturday followed by our last season game against Fortuna the following Saturday, March 21st.

  1. About what did you talk to the kids? Volleyball? America?

  2. We just played games and some volleyball - the kindergardeners don't understand us so we have to have someone traslate the games to them. When we have older kids they sometimes ask us questions about the U.S. and where we are from.
